Food, Faith, Friendship. That's the title of an ongoing gathering 5-7 pm, Thursdays at Chapel by the Sea. This is the Presbyterian (PCUSA) church at 4612 SR 109, border of Moclips and Pacific Beach.
The Reverend Dr. Linda Flatley began this gathering in the Advent season, leading up to Christmas Eve. It has continued, with people meeting for supper and a study, conversation and enjoying their time together on Thursday evenings.
In May the last Thursday moved the venue to Seagate Restaurant and Grill. A neighbor to the chapel (#tinybutmighty), they are finding ways to #visittheneighbors.
For this Independence Day, falling on a Thursday, there will be an old-fashioned style menu including hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon and more. It's free and open to all ages.
