Rental Agreement
All reservations are subject to our Rental Rules & Policies. By completing a reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all rules, policies, and applicable laws governing your stay.
Booking & Payment
Full payment is required to secure a reservation. Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received and a written confirmation is issued.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Most reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before check-in. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in are not refunded. Non-refundable rates, where selected at the time of booking, cannot be cancelled or refunded at any point. Your booking confirmation shows which policy applies to your reservation. No refunds are issued for early departures. In the event of circumstances beyond our control (weather, natural disasters, government orders), refunds will only be issued if the property is rendered uninhabitable.
Reservations are completed on our booking platform at hi-tide-resort.guestybookings.com. Bookings made there are also subject to that platform’s terms and conditions and privacy policy. Where the two differ on the terms of your stay, the policy shown on your booking confirmation applies.

Hi-Tide Ocean Beach Resort (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This section explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information necessary to process reservations and manage your stay, including: full name and contact information (email, phone, address); payment and billing information; government-issued ID where required for guest verification; names of other guests in your party; and device and usage data when you interact with our website.
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to: process and manage reservations; verify guest identities and screen bookings; communicate with you about your stay; send transactional communications required for your reservation; send marketing emails where you have subscribed to them, which you may opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message; improve our services; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Smart Devices & Property Monitoring
For guest safety and property security, Hi-Tide Resort units may include: smart locks for keyless entry (access is logged for security purposes); noise monitoring sensors (non-recording decibel sensors only — no audio recording); and exterior security cameras at entry points. No cameras are installed inside units or in private spaces. Guests are notified of any monitoring devices at time of booking.
Data Sharing
We may share your information with: property owners as part of our management services; third-party vendors (payment processing, identity verification, cloud hosting, our booking platform, and MailerLite for email delivery) who are contractually obligated to protect your data; and law enforcement or regulatory authorities when legally required.
Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption, secure authentication, and regular security audits.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@recreationstays.com.
